The sons of Jacob are known as the 12 tribes of Israel. Benjamin was Joseph’s younger brother who had been born to Rachael as well. Joseph was the firstborn son of Jacob’s wife, Rachel, whom he loved very much. His 10 older brothers hated him because their father favored him more.
